Whether you plan to give birth in a hospital or at home, with or without medication, scheduled cesarean or VBAC, this 4-hour class will prepare you to cultivate the childbirth experience you desire. Topics include how to deal with common pregnancy discomforts, exercises that can help both your mind and body get ready to give birth, birth options, what to expect at the hospital, the birth process, pain management and comfort techniques.
If you have already given birth, but this will be your first unmedicated birth, this class is ideal for you. This 2-hour class will review the labor process and focus on techniques that will bring you comfort while you are in labor and giving birth.
Plan to include your support person/people.
Have you spent little time around newborn babies? Has it been a long time since you've handled a newborn baby? This 1-hour class will acquaint you with how newborns look, how they act, and what to do with them.
This class is ideal for prospective adoptive parents or new grandparents (many things have changed since our babies were born, so make sure you are up-to-date on infant care recommendations!)
Whether you are breastfeeding for the first time, are supporting a breastfeeding mom, or just want to know more about breastfeeding, this 1-hour class will help get you off to a great start and show you some helpful resources.
